About the center
Overview
More than 3,500 allogeneic, autologous and unrelated transplants have been performed at the Blood and Bone Marrow Transplant Program at Shands at the University of Florida, established in 1981. Our multidisciplinary team works together to evaluate each patient and determine the best course of treatment. This center has been performing allogeneic transplants since 1981 and has been an NMDP/Be The Match transplant center since October 1988.
