Our partners are helping to cure blood cancers
Since Be The Match® started more than 25 years ago we have developed partnerships with many companies throughout the country. Without their support we would not be able to achieve our life- saving work. Corporations make it their priority to support new, innovative Be The Match initiatives to build Be The Match Registry®, bolster our patients and continue our critical research efforts.
Be The Match Registry has grown from just 10,000 volunteer bone marrow donors to nearly 13.5 million potential life-saving donors over the course of 25 years. Partnerships with organizations like yours make this possible. In fact, registry members recruited through corporate partnerships go on to become some of our most committed donors in the world!
Any organization – large or small – can have an impact in a variety of ways:
- Sponsor fundraising events or donor drives
- Contribute critical funds to add new members to the registry, provide patient assistance and support medical research
- Support special projects, such as educational programs for physicians and pharmacists
- Form corporate or organizational teams for Be The Match® Walk+Runs
Your support not only helps our patients, but also positively impacts your employees and communities by bringing them together to help save lives. For more information on how your organization can partner with us, please contact Carl Levi, Director, Corporate Partnerships, at (763) 406-8329 or email Carl.Levi@nmdp.org.
With generous contributions from companies and foundations like yours, we are able to save more lives every day.
We are grateful for the partners below who contributed $25,000 or more this year or $100,000 or more over the lifetime of our relationship and continue to provide support.

They organized district campaign coordinators who collaborate with our regional and local recruitment staff to hold annual donor registry drives at postal facilities across the country.
As an organization with the largest and most diverse civilian workforce in the country, the USPS also helped diversify our registry to increase the likelihood that all patients will find a live-saving match. In fact, over 50% of USPS employees on the registry are from diverse racial and ethnic backgrounds.
So far, more than 80 patients have found their match among the USPS employees who joined our registry.

The Andy Talley Bone Marrow Foundation
The mission of the Andy Talley Bone Marrow Foundation is to increase the odds of finding lifesaving donors for patients in need of a marrow transplant by registering young, committed donors to the Be the Match Registry®. Villanova Head Football Coach Andy Talley started his non-profit foundation in November of 2010. However, Coach Talley’s involvement in providing opportunities to join the Be The Match Registry began nearly two decades earlier in the fall of 1992 after becoming aware of the devastating odds facing those in need of bone marrow transplants.
Through the “Get in the Game. Save a Life Program.” (joint initiative between Be The Match and Coach Talley that started in 2008), almost 80 different colleges have been recruited to host marrow donor registry drives, over 71,000 new donors have been added to the Registry and 364 of those registrants have gone on to donate to a patient in need. In addition to the recruitment of potential donors, the Andy Talley Bone Marrow Foundation has donated over $375,000 to Be The Match (as of 2016).
