At Be The Match, we are committed to supporting both patients and donors across the blood stem cell transplant journey –and it is a long one, filled with many steps.
Every day we support this journey by adding more potential life-saving donors to the Be The Match Registry®, covering out-of-pocket transplant costs, and investing in breakthrough research to save more lives and improve transplant outcomes.
But we cannot do this work alone. So much of this support would be lost without philanthropy—without our kind and generous community of supporters.
One of Be The Match’s most powerful sources of giving is our Circle of Hope. Made up of our most generous and loyal supporters, Circle of Hope is a community of members who commit to giving or fundraising $1,000 or more each year.
We are incredibly grateful to the 1,029 dedicated supporters who were a part of Circle of Hope last year. Together, they stepped up to make a spectacular $5.54 million impact.
Their generous contributions helped remove many of the financial hurdles that can burden, or even prevent, patients and donors from completing the transplant journey. Their gifts also supported key programs, such as growing and diversifying our registry, and helped fund life-saving research.
