The transplants-by-disease charts show the number of unrelated blood and marrow transplants performed by U.S. transplant centers in the National Marrow Donor Program® (NMDP)* Network.

The numbers in these charts:

  • Include transplants using marrow, peripheral blood cells (PBSC), or umbilical cord blood from unrelated donors. This does not include donors who are family members.
  • Include only transplants coordinated by the Be The Match Registry®, which is operated by the NMDP.

  • Include transplants going back to the date the transplant center joined the NMDP Network.

  • Are updated every 3 months
