Stop shaving hair to start saving lives

Be The Match® is excited to have been selected once again as a charity partner of No-Shave November.

No-Shave November is a month-long campaign when participants stop shaving and grooming. It isn’t about lazy self-care, it’s to encourage conversation and raise cancer awareness by embracing our hair which many cancer patients lose, and letting it grow wild and free.

Get scruffy to save lives

This November, rally your coworkers, friends and family to skip the haircuts and grooming. Join the cause by growing a beard or mustache, letting those legs go natural and ditching that waxing appointment.

Create your own personal fundraising page by registering to participate and selecting Be The Match Foundation® in the “Select Partnership” dropdown menu. Be sure to tag No-Shave November and Be The Match when you post about your participation on social media. Prefer a close shave? You can still support Be The Match with a quick donation (select “Be The Match Foundation” in the dropdown menu).

The foundation behind the campaign

No-Shave November is a web-based, non-profit organization operated by the Matthew Hill Foundation, Inc. that started as a Facebook group in 2009. Since then, No-Shavers have donated over $12 million to cancer research, prevention, education and awareness efforts.

“No-Shave November has become synonymous with fundraising for cancer and we are extremely proud of that,” said Monica Hill, Matthew Hill Foundation, Inc. President and Co-founder. “If we can get our donors to see these nonprofits doing groundbreaking work from prevention to survivor support to researching for a cure, we think that will make a lasting impact.”

Things are about to get very hairy. Ready, set…GROW! Start your No-Shave November fundraising page or donate today.
