We’re pleased to announce a partnership with No-Shave November to help educate about cancer prevention, save lives, aid those fighting the battle—and support Be The Match®.
The goal of No-Shave November is to grow awareness by embracing our hair which many cancer patients lose, and letting it grow wild and free.
This November, rally your coworkers, friends and family to put down their razors and grow body hair for good! You can participate by growing a beard, cultivating a mustache, letting those legs go natural and skipping that waxing appointment.
Create your own personal fundraising page by registering to participate (please select “Be The Match Foundation” in the dropdown menu). Not ready to get hairy? You can still support Be The Match with a quick donation (please select “Be The Match Foundation” in the dropdown menu). And be sure to tag Be The Match and No-Shave November when you post about your participation on social media.
No-Shave November is a web-based, non-profit organization operated by the Matthew Hill Foundation, Inc. that started as a Facebook group in 2009. Since then, No-Shavers have donated over $12 million to cancer research, prevention, education and awareness efforts.
“No-Shave November has become synonymous with fundraising for cancer and we are extremely proud of that,” said Monica Hill, Matthew Hill Foundation, Inc. President and Co-founder. “If we can get our donors to see these nonprofits doing groundbreaking work from prevention to survivor support to researching for a cure, we think that will make a lasting impact.”
