Supporting the Asian American Community

It is incredibly hard to write messages like this. Expressing yet again, our outrage and horror—and grief—at the loss of life and the terror being inflicted in our communities. Yet we find the need continues because the racist hate and violence in our country continues. Be The Match® condemns, in no uncertain terms, racism in any form and implores our whole community to stand in solidarity for justice.

As we respond to yesterday’s actions, we remember and mourn those lost: Daoyou Feng, Hyun Jung Grant, Suncha Kim, Paul Andre Michels, Soon Chung Park, Xiaojie Tan, Delaina Ashley Yaun and Yong Yue. We say their names and honor them. We care deeply about this community and for Atlanta, and our hearts go out to everyone suffering.

If you are able to take action to support the Asian and Asian American community, consider uplifting the work of these organizations:

  • National Asian Pacific American Women's Forum, which advocates for immigrant women’s workers and reproductive rights.
  • Read the national report regarding Asian American/Pacific Islander hate crimes. Learn safety tips and how to report a hate crime.

We are making employee assistance programs and resource groups available to our employees, and we encourage everyone to check in and listen to their Asian American friends and peers. Together we must stop the spread of misinformation and hate.
