The National Marrow Donor Program^® (NMDP) and Be The Match^® today announced that Amy Ronneberg will be joining the organization on July 15 as chief financial officer (CFO). Ronneberg’s breadth of expertise and experience in strategic financial planning will be instrumental in her new role.

Chell, M.D., chief executive officer of the NMDP and Be The Match. “She has a strong financial leadership background and proven ability in revenue growth, operational efficiency and staff development. We look forward to leveraging her skills and growing our organization so we can offer the hope of a cure to more patients battling life-threatening blood cancers and other diseases.”

Ronneberg has nearly 20 years of experience in financial and operational leadership, most recently as executive vice president, CFO and chief operating officer (COO) of North American Membership Group, a private equity-owned media company. In this role, Ronneberg was responsible for finance, accounting, tax, treasury and operations.

Previously, Ronneberg spent 12 years at Capella University, where she most recently led enterprise-wide operations and customer service. Prior to that, Ronneberg served as vice president of finance and gained experience in accounting, financial planning and analysis, risk management, treasury and capital structure planning. Among her achievements at Capella, Ronneberg played a critical role in helping the organization expand. Ronneberg started her career at Ernst & Young, LLP.

Outside of her professional responsibilities, Ronneberg is also actively involved in the Twin Cities community. She currently sits on the board of Twin Cities in Motion, the organization that sponsors the Twin Cities Marathon, along with numerous other events. She has served on the board since 2004, and is a past board president of the organization. Ronneberg is also a Team USA Minnesota board member and an athlete mentor for USA Track and Field.
