Overview

Children's Hospital features an 18-bed unit with HEPA-filtered, positive-pressure private rooms available to transplant patients. In collaboration with LSUHSC, the program is also an approved Children's Oncology Group (COG) PBMTC hematopoietic stem cell transplant center, and FACT accredited.

This center has been performing allogeneic transplants since 1988 and has been an NMDP/Be The Match transplant center since October 2000.
