UAB Hospital and Children's of Alabama is a joint adult and pediatric transplant program that performs both ablative and non-myeloblative transplants, using cord blood, bone marrow or peripheral blood as the source of stem cells. Our expertise includes cord blood, haplo-identical, matched and mismatched related or unrelated transplants.

This center has been performing allogeneic transplants since 1992 and has been an NMDP transplant center since November 1995.
