Performs adult transplants

Overview

The UC San Diego Health Blood and Marrow Transplant Program is a FACT accredited institution highly specialized multi-disciplinary team of board-certified hematologist and oncologist, advanced practitioners (NP/PA), transplant coordinators and case management, as well as licensed clinical social workers specializing in the unique needs of transplant patients and families. UC San Diego Health provides comprehensive diagnostic and treatment services including Autologous, Allogeneic Transplants from Related, Haploidentical Hematopoietic Stem Cell Transplants and since 1998 we have been a NMDP/Be The Match Transplant Center performing Matched Unrelated Donor Transplants, Cord Blood Transplants, CAR-T Cellular Therapy, Survivorship services, and access to gene therapy and cellular therapy based clinical trials. Our outpatient clinic is located within Moores Cancer Center, offering state of the art care as a member of the NCI and NCCN designated Comprehensive Cancer Network.

This center has been performing allogeneic transplants since 1993 and has been an NMDP/Be The Match transplant center since July 1998.
