Overview

The Stem Cell Transplant Center at VA Tennessee Valley Healthcare System (VA TVHS) in Nashville was established in 1995. We are the largest center among VA transplant centers in the country, performing the most allogeneic transplants annually. The first unrelated donor transplant was performed in 1995. VA TVHS offers related, unrelated, and haploidentical donor allogeneic transplants and provides comprehensive post-transplant care. This center has been performing allogeneic transplants since 1995 and has been an NMDP/Be The Match transplant center since that date.

We provide local housing to our Veterans and their caregiver during their stay. Our Veteran's Hospital is the only FACT accredited VA Transplant Center and our team consists of Coordinators, Nurse Practitioners, Physicians, Social Workers, PharmD's, Phycology, Physical Therapy and a multitude of other services when needed.
