The Be The Match Registry recently reached 10 million members. Congressman C.W. Bill Young posted remarks about the milestone on his website, congratulating NMDP and Be The Match on the significant accomplishment.

Rep. Young noted that the Be The Match Registry has grown from a list of 10,000 possible donors when it was formed in 1987, to the largest and most diverse listing of potential marrow donors and cord blood units in the world.
