Marrow Donor Program Notes 50,000 Transplants

The Associated Press covered the National Marrow Donor Program’s 50,000^th marrow transplant between an unrelated patient and donor. The transplant took place at a time when the organization is also approaching its 25^th anniversary. The recent milestone donation was by 19-year-old Miah Winterfeldt, of Shakopee, Minn.
