Christine Pullara interviewed Tiffany Friesen, SE region, and Heather Cape, a patient to spread the word about the Be The Match Registry and how easy it is to join.

There are a few organizations like the National Marrow Donor Program (NMDP), but the NMDP coordinates the donors from all of these organizations into one registry. With 10,000 people diagnosed with diseases like leukemia and lymphoma, there are many patients looking for a match who do not have a match in their own families. Cape found her match from a cooperating organization overseas in one of 28 countries whose residents contribute to the Be The Match Registry.
